Final Exams in Musashino Art University

Prof. Kestutis Vasiliunas from Graphic Departments / Vilnius Academy of Arts was invited to participate in the Final Exams in the Department of Painting / Printmaking in Musashino Art University.
It is one of the best art universities in Japan and also in the world for printmaking, where studied and worked as professors many famous artists. Musashino Art University was founded as a private Teikoku Art School in 1929. In 1948 the name was changed to Musashino Art School, but officially designated as a University in 1962. Currently, MAU is one of the leading art institutes in Japan, with over 4,500 students and 2,000 correspondence students. Modern and beautiful Musashino Art University Museum & Library connected with nature was designed by Sou Fujimoto Architects in 2010.
Students’ art works in the Final Exams in the Department of Printmaking were very interesting and high quality. Students create different art projects and installation using printmaking technologies, big size of prints, space and art objects.
